Get to meet our Marketing Trainee, Joyce Morais, who has been working closely supporting our team for the past 6 months. Originally from Lisbon, Portugal, Joyce is an international young professional that shares great interest for technology. Find out more via our Q&A and discover the team behind the platform that only offers you important and historical NFTs.
Q: What is your favorite NFT drop and/or project on/by elementum? Joyce: My favorite NFT drop on elementum is the "Voice Gems" created by Harry Yeff and Trung Bao. This remarkable collaboration combines AI with the appreciation of the human voice — the result is a unique fusion of the beauty of both traditional art and modern technology.
Not only is this NFT drop aesthetically pleasing, but it also provides an interesting glimpse into the future of digital art and how technology can be used to create something truly special. This project is an opportunity to understand how these two worlds can come together, and I think this is a great way to experience art in a new and exciting way.

Q: What did you do before you joined elementum? Joyce: As soon as I finished my bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences in Lisbon, I decided to move to Zürich and start working as a marketing professional. I have been working as a marketing trainee in companies related to IT and legal services, respectively.
Q: What attracted you to the space and why is that? Joyce: As someone who is always looking for new ways to express my creativity, I find the idea of creating and trading digital art pieces extremely fascinating, but what makes me most excited about it is how much potential this technology has to offer and where it may be taking us in the future with a disruptive technology that makes the world head into the digital era with more security than ever before.
Q: Who is your favourite NFT artist and why? Joyce: There are so many incredible artists in the NFT space such as Alexander Mordvintsev, Pilar Zeta, Refik Anadol, Damien Hirst, and Aaron Huey which I truly believe that are making a huge contribution to the growth of the market and the history of NFTs and of course, on the art scene.

Q: What is your favorite quote/observation about the NFT space? Joyce: NFTs have taken the world by storm, and they currently are one of the most exciting and innovative developments in the digital asset market. They have revolutionized the way we all think about digital art, collectibles, and even real estate. With their unique characteristics, they have opened up a whole new world of possibilities for investors and collectors alike.
One of my favorite quotes is from Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin: “Non-fungible tokens are one of the most interesting things happening in crypto right now”. This statement perfectly encapsulates my thoughts on why the NFT space is so fascinating and why I believe it has a big future ahead of it — It's an exciting new technology that has the potential to revolutionize digital asset ownership and trading, allowing creators to create one-of-a-kind digital assets that can be bought, sold, or traded like any other asset.
