This artwork features a video of a man swimming with the computer instructed to remove the man from the video. What results is an impression of the man in sea.
The final video is manually animated to create a perfect loop.

About the artist
Josh Rigling (b. 1986) is a conceptual artist with a concentration in internet art projects. His work has been exhibited and collected throughout the world since 2008, with special exhibitions at the Venice Biennale, Satellite in Miami USA and the New Museum in NYC USA.
Rigling's contemporary series explore the translation between Algorithmic and Human Arts.
